Dob pri Šentvidu is a village in the Ivančna Gorica municipality in central Slovenia. It lies to the east of Ivančna Gorica and the A2 motorway runs across the settlement territory to the south of the village core. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenian statistical region.[2]

The local church is dedicated to Saint Peter and belongs to the Šentvid pri Stični parish. It was built in the 17th century.[3]
